Reduced Cost & Free Shipping for High-Volume Accounts
Most labs in this industry have such high profit margins baked into their pricing that gimmicks like low-cost or "free" shipping are thrown around casually.
From the beginning, the lab pricing that Pivotal Group brought to optometrists was stripped to the bone — making rebates, per-account discounts, and shipping perks financially impossible. When comparing bottom-line pricing of other labs with these "perks" to Pivotal Group's lab partner without perks, our members have come out way ahead.
PLN is powered by the same high-volume, low-margin business model, but... high volume accounts enable economies of scale, allowing us to rollout a "Path to Free Shipping" program for higher-volume accounts at PLN.
Members can enroll in PLN's "Path to Free Shipping" program by committing to a certain level of monthly volume. The shipping discount will be applied to the PLN account up-front, assuming in good faith that the client will achieve or surpass their selected monthly volume commitment.
The tiers for this program are as follows:
- Monthly Volume: $0 to $3,000 — $13.50 per shipment(full price)
- Monthly Volume: $3,001 to $4,000 — $11.50 per shipment(15% off)
- Monthly Volume: $4,001 to $6,000 — $9.50 per shipment (30% off)
- Monthly Volume: $6,000 to $8,000 — $7.50 per shipment (45% off)
- Monthly Volume: $8,000 or more — Free shipping; one shipment per day (100% off)

PLN's "Path to Free Shipping" is the best option for higher-volume accounts to save on shipping costs, but it's not the only way. Even young or growing PLN accounts can reduce shipping costs through our consolidated shipping program.
